Houston Business Journal hosted an awards gala on Aug. 27, 2015 at the Hilton Post Oak, where they revealed the winners and recognized all the finalists of the first-ever Houston Business Journal C-Suite Awards. More than 100 submissions were reviewed and considered by a panel of judges, and 32 finalists were selected in six C-level title categories. The HBJ C-Suite Awards serve to honor outstanding local executives in the Houston area based on three things: contribution to their company’s success, civic involvement and career achievement.

“The most important thing I’ve observed in Scott is that he constantly looks at the person in front of him and tries to determine how they can be their best,”
